Today is National Self Care Day! In the hustle and bustle of daily life, most of us often forget to prioritize our health and wellness.
Take time today (and every day!) to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing -- body, mind, and spirit
Here are some of our favorite, simple ways to take care of ourselves:
Disconnect from technology and make time for movement! A short walk, chair yoga, or light weights can help strengthen the body and clear the mind.
Take that nap if you're feeling exhausted! A twenty minute nap can help rejuvenate you, improving the rest of your day.
Set an intention to eat some greens and prioritize water intake.

Join @dharmawithdanni on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm in-studio (or online!) for a Yin practice. Yin Yoga is slow and meditative and will leave you with a feeling of relaxation and deep peace.
Most importantly, remember that self-care is not selfish nor a luxury. Taking time for yourself -- to be quite and rest; to move mindfully and breathe consciously; to prepare and enjoy foods that nourish your body is necessary.
